Dubizzle has officially rebranded to OLX. This is part of Naspers’ strategy to have a unified name for all its Classifieds platform.
Naspers changed the Kalahariads brand to OLX in 2011 and the Dealfish brand in 2012.
Dubizzle has been part of the Naspers family of classifieds platforms since 2013 sharing the same values even though it hadn’t adopted the OLX brand name.
This name change has taken effect in the 10 North African and Middle Eastern countries where Dubizzle operates in.
This change has not changed the user account details and their ads remain the same. The user experience remains the same and there is no impact to sellers and the items put up for sale.
OLX, globally, currently has 240 million monthly active users and generates over 17 billion page views per month
