In Lagos, traffic jams can be a hassle. And a Nigerian indigenous IT firm, Tsaboin Tech World has come up with an innovation called “Traffic Talk” to reduce the effect of this.
In a statement released by the firm in its first quarter report, Traffic Talk’ is one of the firm’s free services, that inform road users about the road and traffic conditions reported by users like them, thereby providing information with which they could make smarter decisions about routes to take.
“Traffic Talk is a convergence of road traffic related issues and users would not have to swim across a pool of random information before they get to the shore of the vital information they need to make their commuting faster and easier. In summary, it’s a platform where you can know what lies ahead of you before you set out or even start your day,” Tsaboin said.
With Gidi traffic giving the same function on Twitter, one wonders how “Traffic Talk” would be diffrent.
