The world woke up to the news that Muhammed Ali had passed on.  The great boxing legend died a day after he was rushed to hospital with difficulty in breathing.

Considered the greatest heavyweight boxer in history, he was born “Cassius Clay” in 1942. He won the world heavyweight championship from Sonny Liston in a stunning upset in 1964.

Ali was diagnosed with Parkinson’s syndrome in 1984, a disease that commonly results from head trauma from activities such as boxing.

He died at the age of 74 on the 3rd of June 2016.
