Chinese mobile phone manufacturer, Xiaomi, has partnered with Aspira Kenya to set up the first Mi Home Store.
This will be the first Mi Home Store in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Xiaomi alongside other Chinese companies have built quality phones, available to buyers at a reasonable price, and as such have slowly begun to dominate the smartphone sales.
The Mi store will stock over 300 different smart devices ranging from an electric toothbrush to smartphones and even smart suitcases, hence the name Mi Home.
The partnership with Aspira Kenya allows people to purchase any of the Xiaomi gadgets, and pay for them in installments.

Aspira Kenya has an Android App available. Users sign up, create an account, apply for financing, calculate monthly payments and shop from any of their retail partners. One of which is now Mi Home.
Xiaomi is the fourth largest smartphone vendor by Shipment. The company controls 8% of the global smartphone market according to counterpoint research.
