Visa, the global leader in digital payments, in collaboration with Absa, one of Africa’s largest diversified financial services groups, has officially opened applications for the She’s Next programme — a flagship initiative aimed at supporting and uplifting women-led businesses in South Africa.
The She’s Next programme is designed to foster a more inclusive and equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing grant funding, tailored business training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to women entrepreneurs across all sectors.
“Visa is committed to helping women develop and excel in business,” said Lineshree Moodley, Country Head at Visa South Africa. “Through She’s Next, we aim to encourage and enable even more participation of women in driving the economy, in line with our goal to digitally enable as many small businesses around the world as possible, while also creating a supportive environment in which they can grow and thrive.”
What’s on offer:
- A share of over ZAR 1 million (approx. USD 55,000) in grant funding for selected women-led ventures
- Access to capacity-building workshops and business development training curated by Visa and Absa
- Mentorship and networking opportunities with industry leaders and fellow entrepreneurs
- Visibility and recognition through the She’s Next platform
The programme is sector-agnostic, meaning women entrepreneurs from any industry are encouraged to apply, whether they’re in tech, retail, agriculture, health, education, or creative industries.
Applications are open here until July 30, 2025.
