Twitter may allow users to attach photos, videos and GIFs to a tweet at the same time

Twitter is reportedly working on upcoming feature that gives users the ability to attach photos, videos and GIFs to a tweet at the same time.

Kudos to App Researcher, Alessandro Paluzzi, who spotted the new feature and shared his discovery on Twitter. “#Twitter is working to allow you to attach photos, videos and GIFs to a tweet at the same time,” says Paluzzi.

A subsequent tweet from Paluzzi reveals that the App Researcher first learned of this new interface change, or adjustment, in 2020. According to Paluzzi, the absence of platform implementation and any supporting screenshots or information, on the other hand, made him decide to let things slide till now.

The new feature itself, however, does not warrant much discussion. Users can now tweet multiple pictures and videos at the same time beneath a single tweet. Now the platform is looking to give users the ability to post GIFs and videos side by side.

If Twitter eventually come up with this, it could make way for a lot of creativity on thr platform, as you will begin to see a variety of content in display. But do not expect to see Twitter launch soon as all of the company’s focus is on Elon Musk’s takeover.

It’s also makes sense to say that Twitter will likely introduce this feature for only its paid subscribers (a.k.a Twitter Blue) or for its limited number of advertisers to promote their products or services.
