Nigeria’s payments company and operator of Remita, SystemSpecs, has appointed Mr. David Arome Okeme as its new Chief Marketing Officer.
According to the company, “Okeme is joining us to lead the much desired transformation of our marketing function especially as we get into the retail space.
Before taking up this job, he spent over 22 years work experience with Unilever (+ specific D&E Markets experience) spanning four Marketing lanes – Brand Development, Brand Building, Customer Development & Customer Marketing.
A 1990 graduate of the University of Jos, he obtained obtained business education at the Ivy league institutions of London Business School and Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania. He recently completed the Chief Executives Programme (CEP 21) of the Lagos Business School, Pan Atlantic University in Lagos, Nigeria.
He is currently the President, Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN), and Member, Executive Board, World Advertising Federation (WFA).
