Last year, Bridge Oracle CEO, Sina Estavi, bought an NFT of Jack Dorsey’s First Tweet for $2.9 million from Jack Dorsey. Now he is offering to sell the NFT for almost $48 million on non fungible token marketplace OpenSea, 16 times what the owner paid for it a year ago.

After buying the NFT a year ago, he tweeted saying, “I think years later people will realize the true value of this tweet, like the Mona Lisa painting,”

He made this sale announcement on Twitter saying “I decided to sell this NFT (the world’s ever tweet) and donate 50% of the proceeds ($25 million or more) to the charity @GiveDirectly

    why not 99% of it?

Interestingly Jack Dorsey, who stepped down as Twitter CEO last year, responded quickly saying, “why not 99% of it?”

The Charity responded saying “We’ll just add: last time the tweet sold, the proceeds reached 16,497 families in poverty. With every additional $1M donated, we’re able to reach ~4,000 more people like Eunice:”

Sina has responded to Jack saying; “I don’t want the rest for myself; I’d prefer to use the rest to support blockchain projects ( @bridge_oracle ) and help my people, but your suggestion is valuable to me. If you like, I would donate 100% of it to charity if you let me know.”
