Digital health startup Eyone, headquartered in Senegal, has successfully secured $1 million in funding to bolster its standing in the healthcare industry and propel its expansion across the African continent. Founded in 2015 by Henri Ousmane Gueye, Eyone is dedicated to delivering digital solutions aimed at creating a cohesive and interconnected healthcare ecosystem.
The company’s platform serves as a vital link between patients and key stakeholders, including hospitals, clinics, insurers, international organizations, and government entities. This connectivity ensures a more efficient and coordinated approach to healthcare delivery.
The recent funding round saw significant backing from the Sonatel Group, which invested $855,000 through its investment arm, Véhicule d’Investissement et de Financing (VIF). Additionally, BICIS contributed $145,000 to the total funding amount.
This influx of capital will enable Eyone to enhance its digital health services, expand its operational footprint, and introduce cutting-edge healthcare solutions specifically designed for the African market. The company’s overarching vision is to revolutionize healthcare across Africa by leveraging technology to bridge gaps in access and elevate the quality of services available to both patients and healthcare providers.
