The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is confirmed, well, indirectly. Now previously we heard Samsung will release just one flagship in 2017. Which will include both the Galaxy S8 and the Note 8 with a totally different name. Meaning Note lineup will be discontinued but it seems like Samsung will still release the Note 8, no name change, same deal flagship line up as before, which is a good news.
So recently, Samsung offered an update program for South Korean Galaxy Note 7 users by replacing their phones with a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. The users will also be giving a chance to upgrade to a Galaxy S8 or the Galaxy Note 8 next year.
Although, the upgrade will not be free but instead, customers will have to pay half the price of the Galaxy S7 or the S7 Edge, depending on which they had for their replacement.
So now you can see that Samsung indirectly confirmed that there will be a Galaxy Note 8 smartphone next year. Which means the company will not discontinue the flagship lineup. This will probably be the most awaited smartphone of 2017 in my opinion. And I’m really certain we all can’t wait to see Samsung make a comeback after the Note 7 explosions.
However, rumours claim the Note 8’s S-Pen will come with a speaker, and the Galaxy S8 will include a 4K curved super Amlod display. And this time, Samsung is moving to LG for both the S8 and Note 8 batteries.
