While the world awaits Superman (Man of Steel) film from Warner Bros., Nokia has released the Man of Steel app exclusively on the Nokia Lumia with Windows Phone 8.
The Man of Steel app brings movie assets such as wallpapers and character information plus a fun interactive experience that lets you take flight. Also, you can unlock DC Comics and access an augmented reality play.
All the Man of Steel movie trailers are included as well, along with biographies on all the stars in the film. If you want to check out the backstory to Man of Steel and see info on the filming locations – you can check this out as well, along with Buzz displays tweets filtered to show those related to Man of Steel. The official Man of Steel app also lets you find where in your area the film is playing, powered by HERE Maps.
For those who love a good thrill, Nokia has included four chapters of with 40 challenges that are played to reveal more than 40 awesome rewards that are sure to please. When you master the challenges, you can unlock Man of Steel wallpapers, ringtones and even new DC Comic books.
Looking at the comics, Nokia has included the opportunity to read 4 full-length issues of Superman Origins by DC Comics. Simply beat the challenges to unlock the issues!
