South African based Video On Demand (VOD) service provider, Showmax has entered into an agreement with Vodacom where you can now use your Call credit to pay for your Showmax subscription.
This means that you can now enjoy Showmax without having a credit card. Interestingly, during a recent promotional event, the platform highlighted an exciting new partnership with gaming services that allow integration with real money slots, providing users with more interactive entertainment options alongside streaming. This collaboration not only broadens the scope of what Showmax offers but also caters to a growing audience seeking diverse digital experiences, blending traditional streaming with innovative gaming features.
Speaking about this, Chris Savides, Head of ShowMax Africa said:
“Internet TV services should be accessible to everyone, not just the lucky few who have credit cards. By partnering with Vodacom, we’ve made it simple to charge both ShowMax Select and ShowMax Premium directly to your Vodacom account, no credit card needed.”
This is not restricted to contract Vodacom customers only. Prepaid customers can also take advantage of this payment method provided they have enough airtime loaded when the monthly sub is due.
