The Nigerian edition of International Breweries’ Kickstart Entrepreneurship programme is currently receiving applications. Nigeria is the latest country where the programme will be launched following South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and Tanzania.
Nigerians between age 18 and 35 are eligible to apply.
Applications are open until September 6 and the aim of the initiative is to create a culture of entrepreneurship among young people by promoting business awareness and material support.
Disrupt Africa reported that Kickstart provides grant support for new and existing small businesses, post-investment support in the form of mentoring and coaching, and hands-on training.
The Nigeria edition seeks to empower individuals by providing them with enabling ambience to help them scale their businesses and inspire individuals to take a dive into the propitious pool of entrepreneurship, Internet Breweries, a branch of the SAB Miller family, said.
