MTN Nigeria now has over 2 million Facebook fans.
This makes it the most liked telecoms operator on Facebook. This is not unconnected with the fact that it accounts for 44% of the mobile subscriber base in Nigeria as at the last NCC report. MTN currently has about 56 million subscribers in Nigeria.
Airtel Nigeria , the second highest telecoms operator on Facebook, currently has about 1.16 million fans on Facebook.
