The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was officially introduced on the 23rd of August.
The phone has a 6.3″ infinity display (Quad HD+ Super AMOLED (2960 x 1440)) with dimensions (162.5 x 74.8 x 8.6 mm) and weighs 195g. It comes with an S pen which has the following dimensions (108.3 x 5.8 x 4.2 mm) and weighs 2.8g
It has a dual rear camera, each 12MP. One is a normal wide angle lens while the other is a 2X telephoto. Both cameras have optical image stabilization (OIS). It also has 8MP front camera for selfies.

The Galaxy Note 8 has the same iris scanner and face recognition features as the S8, not forgetting the fingerprint scanner also.
It comes with Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) OS and also has a Qualcomm snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone has a dedicated physical button for Samsung’s digital assistant, Bixby. The Samsung galaxy Note 8 has a battery capacity of 3300mAh and supports fast charging.
Galaxy Note8 and S Pen are rated IP68, meaning they are both protected against dust ingress and are water resistant.
The phone is available in four colours – midnight black, deepsea blue, orchid gray and maple gold.

Preorders start Aug. 24, and the phone will be for sale as from the 15th of Sept in the US, UK, South Korea and other select countries. It’ll roll out globally through October.
The Samsung Note 8 will sell for around $950. There is a catch for Samsung Note 7 owners. Note 7 owners who go to Samsung.com will receive an instant trade-in value of up to $425 (about £330 or $AU540) when you upgrade your current phone for a Galaxy Note 8.
