European-based Integrity360 has announced the acquisition of Nclose, a well-established and highly rated cyber security services company with offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa. This acquisition is a strategic move in Integrity360’s global expansion efforts.
While the terms of the deal were not disclosed, this transaction follows the previously announced acquisition of Cape Town-based Grove Group in August 2024. The combined resources of Integrity360 and Nclose in South Africa now comprise over 180 personnel. This expanded team will serve as a significant regional hub and global Security Operations Centre (SOC) for the firm, supporting both local and international customers.
Integrity360 is also set to launch a new SOC in Madrid in the first quarter of 2025. With this addition, the group will operate across six SOC locations, providing an ever-expanding multilingual 24/7 capability for its comprehensive suite of managed services. These services include Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solutions.
Founded in 2006, Nclose has earned a reputation for service excellence among its customer base, which includes several renowned South African and international businesses. Nclose offers a variety of cyber security solutions, including consulting, a full suite of managed services for cyber infrastructure, MDR services, and a select set of technology solutions from leading international cyber security vendors such as CrowdStrike, Netskope, Tenable, McAfee, KnowBe4, Forcepoint, and Sentinel One. These offerings complement Integrity360’s existing relationships and services.
Nclose also brings to Integrity360 “Cyberfire,” an internally developed, innovative, and complementary MDR technology that is well-suited for SMEs and mid-market enterprises. Cyberfire will supplement Integrity360’s existing Gartner-recognized MDR service, which integrates numerous Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, network, and endpoint technologies.
Integrity360 plans to invest further in the Cyberfire platform and make it available to a broader set of international customers across all its markets in the coming months.
Ian Brown, Executive Chairman at Integrity360, commented;
The journey Nclose has been on since their formation in 2006 is highly impressive, and we are looking forward to helping them provide an enhanced set of services to their customers and expanding further in the wider South African market during 2025 and beyond. The addition of Cyberfire brings another service and growth capability to the group, further expanding the depth of Integrity360’s XDR and MDR portfolio for the benefit of our wider international customer base. I look forward to working closely with Stephen, Martin, and the team over the coming years.
Stephen Osler and Martin Potgieter, Founders and Directors of Nclose, added;
This is a momentous milestone for us, and we could not be more delighted that Nclose is joining Integrity360 and continuing the growth journey we started almost 20 years ago. Thanks to the support of our customers, partners, and employees, Nclose has grown and flourished during that time. Having spent considerable time with Ian and the wider Integrity360 leadership team, we are confident we will continue to do so as part of the Integrity360 group. We are excited about the future.
