Gebeya, a prominent Pan-African talent cloud company, is partnering with respected technology and business learning provider O’Reilly. This strategic alliance aims to bolster the skills of African professionals in the rapidly evolving digital arena.
Through this partnership, users of Gebeya’s Talent Cloud platforms will gain access to O’Reilly’s extensive catalog of over 5,000 technology-centric courses. These courses, which have been crafted by industry professionals, cover a broad spectrum of sought-after skills such as data analytics, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.
Alexia Pedersen, Senior Vice President International at O’Reilly, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “Our comprehensive learning solutions, offered in various formats like books, videos, and online courses, will equip African talent with the knowledge and expertise needed to thrive in the evolving tech landscape.”
Gebeya’s platform uses AI to help partners develop talent ecosystems, source candidates, evaluate skills, and build communities.
The partnership will enable Talent Cloud owners to offer O’Reilly’s content at a discounted price and in local currencies, thereby increasing its accessibility to African learners.
Martin Ndlovu, Gebeya’s Chief Growth Officer, says, “By integrating O’Reilly’s resources, we’re arming African professionals with the skills to excel in the digital economy.”
This collaboration enhances Gebeya’s existing partnership with Microsoft, with the objective of establishing the largest Microsoft Talent Cloud dedicated to Africa.
The launch of Microsoft.gebeya.com, set for next week, will utilize O’Reilly’s Microsoft-aligned courses to bolster skill development for in-demand technology roles.
Upon completion of these programs, learners will earn industry-recognized badges to certify their competencies within Microsoft’s Azure domain. In addition to this, they will have access to practical resources such as Azure labs, sandbox environments, and practice exams, preparing them to meet the talent requirements of Microsoft’s partners.
