    Gamsole, PrepClass, others make Forbes list

    A total of four Nigerians made Forbes 30 most promising Young Entrepreneurs in Africa 2016. According to the publication, the selected entrepreneurs have carved a niche for themselves in various businesses and are a source of inspiration to other entrepreneurs.

    Here they are:

    Abiola Olaniran, Founder, Gamsole

    Abiola Olaniran is a Windows Game developer and software developer. He founded Nigerian gaming company Gamsole. Aged 28, his company’s games now have more than 9 million downloads both locally and internationally on the Windows Phone store.

    Ogunlana Olumide & Chukwuwezam Obanor, Founders, PrepClass

    Ogunlana Olumide and Chukwuwezam Obanor, both 24, are the founders of Prepclass – a Nigerian academic solutions provider offering online test prep software and full-length tests. Also, PrepClass provides personalised home tutors in Lagos, Nigeria, skilled at meeting individual academic needs. Prepclass.com.ng is an e-learning platform that uses the latest web technologies to ensure that relevant local content such as past exam questions, past tests are available to users. Prep class was overall Africa winner of the India Africa business venture competition recently.

    Kasope Ladipo-Ajai, Founder, OmoAlata

    Kasope Ladipo-Ajai, 29, is a co-founder of OmoAlata – a Nigerian brand that processes and packages local Nigerian spices and peppers. Its flagship OmoAlata Peppermix, which is a blend of fresh organic tomatoes, onions and peppers, has been favourably received in the Nigerian market.

    Kasope Ladipo-Ajai, a computer science graduate from Babcock University was the winner of the 2015 She Leads Africa Pitch Competition

    Olatorera Oniru, Founder, Dress Me Outlet

    Olatorera Oniru, 29, is the founder and CEO of the electronic commerce website Dressmeoutlet.com of fashion products, health & beauty products and home-goods. Dress me outlet stocks more than 1,000 products from premium designers globally. Dress me outlet ships worldwide and currently has customers in different states across Nigeria, Uganda and the United States of America.
