Sehatech, a leading healthtech startup. announced that it has secured $850,000 in funding from prominent investors A15 and Beltone Venture Capital, a subsidiary of Beltone Holding Company. This injection of capital is set to catapult Sehatech into a pivotal role in revolutionizing healthcare administration through technology. Sehatech says it will use the funds to grow its team and invest in product development to improve user experience.

Established in 2022 by Mostafa Tarek, Mohamed Elshabrawy, and Omar Shawky, Sehatech’s primary objective is the automation of medical approvals, claims processing, and billing cycles. This innovative approach not only results in time and cost savings for insurers but also serves as a bulwark against fraudulent activities.

“We are thrilled to have the support of A15 and Beltone Venture Capital in our mission to transform the healthcare industry in Egypt and the broader region,” enthused Mohamed Elshabrawy, Founder & CEO of Sehatech. Digitizing the third-party administration (TPA) sector promises to bring profound social impact by making healthcare services more accessible and affordable for everyone.

Sehatech’s digital platform promises increased transparency, accelerated processing times, and precise claim settlements. This, in turn, will lead to improved healthcare outcomes for patients, streamlined administrative operations, timely payments for healthcare providers, and reduced loss ratios for insurers.

Bassem Raafat, Principal at A15, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that Sehatech’s innovative approach would enhance the efficiency of medical insurance policy administration and elevate the healthcare experience for patients in Egypt and beyond.
