Ten speakers have been lined up to speak at the upcoming edition of “The Platform Nigeria”.
They are ‘Bosun Tijani, co-founder of Co-creation Hub; Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, CEO & Co-Founder, Flutterwave; Dr. Victor Oladokun, Director of Communications, African Development Bank Group; Adepeju Jaiyeoba, Founder, Brown Button Foundation; Mosunmola Umoru, Founder & CEO, Farmshoppe; Evon Benson-Idahosa, Founder/ED, Pathfinders Justice Initiative; Orodaam Otto, Founder, Slum2School Africa; Clare Akamanzi, CEO, Rwanda Development Board; Oscar Ekponimo, Founder & CEO, Chowberry and ‘Poju Oyemade, Senior Pastor of Covenant Christian Centre, Lagos and the convener of The Platform.
The theme of this edition is “Beyond Politics – The New Tribe of Africans fighting Poverty & Changing the Face of the Continent.
The Speakers
- ‘Bosun Tijani, co-founder of Co-creation Hub – Bosun is the founder and Chief Executive of Co-Creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB). He is an innovation expert who has invested the last 15 years evangelizing an industry-wide shift to technology innovation, which has helped position start-ups as the anchor of the tech ecosystem in Nigeria.
- Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, CEO & Co-Founder, Flutterwave. Iyinoluwa is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, a Forbes 30 under 30 honoree and a member of Nigeria’s Industrial Policy and Competitiveness Advisory Council. He is known as the co-founder of two successful Tech startups in Africa, Andela and Flutterwave.
- Dr. Victor Oladokun, Director of Communications, African Development Bank Group. Dr. Oladokun is an internationally recognized media practitioner. A creative force behind several cutting-edge TV programs, he has presented hundreds of episodes of leading international news and magazine programs such as CBN World News and Turning Point International.
- Adepeju Jaiyeoba, Founder, Brown Button Foundation. Adepeju is a social entrepreneur and activist who is the Founder Brown Button Foundation, an NGO working to improve the face of healthcare delivery in rural communities by training birth attendants and supplying ‘Mothers Delivery Kit’ which provides ultra affordable sterile supplies for women to use at childbirth while also increasing access to quality healthcare services.
- Mosunmola Umoru, Founder & CEO, Farmshoppe. Mosunmola is a Farmer/Agribusiness Entrepreneur. As Founder & CEO of Farmshoppe, Mosunmola’s daily role is to oversee the development & operations of a 7,000-hectare agribusiness engaged principally in farming, food production, processing and distribution of a wide range of produce.
- Evon Benson-Idahosa, Founder/ED, Pathfinders Justice Initiative. Evon is a Lawyer and the Founder/Executive Director of Pathfinders Justice Initiative, an NGO, which seeks to eradicate sex trafficking, and the exploitation of women and girls in Nigeria.
- Orodaam Otto, Founder, Slum2School Africa. Otto is the Founder of Slum2School Africa- an NGO created in 2012 during his national youth service as an intervention to advocate for and improve access/quality of education for disadvantaged children in slums and remote communities.
- Clare Akamanzi, CEO, Rwanda Development Board. Clare Akamanzi is a Rwandan lawyer, public administrator, businesswoman and politician, who is the current executive director and Chief executive officer of the Rwanda Development Board.
- Oscar Ekponimo, Founder & CEO, Chowberry. Oscar is a Skilled and experienced Software Engineer and Information Technologist who is the Founder & CEO of Chowberry. Chowberry is an app that connects grocery stores and supermarkets with NGOs and charities to put wasted or leftover food to use.
- ‘Poju Oyemade. Pastor Poju is the Senior Pastor of Covenant Christian Centre, Lagos and the convener of The Platform. He hosts regular Faith Seminars, Singles’ Summits, Financial and Business Seminars where believers are taught the undiluted Word and how it can be applied directly in their situations to produce results, God’s way.
