In a move that showed it is still interested in the Nigerian market in spite of fierce battle for market share by chat apps such as WhatsApp, Blackberry has made another push to endear its popular chat app, the Blackberry Messenger (BBM), to Nigerians and it has enlisted comic rapper, Falz, to champion it.
Yesterday, it was revealed that Folarin Falana popularly referred to as Falz the Bahd Guy is the latest brand ambassador for BBM.
Falz, who is the son of human rights activist, Femi Falana, broke the news on his Instagram page. In the now familiar Falz intonation he said: “2017 about toe be lit!! New deal ovishallay done. #BBM Ambassador. You can reash me on pinging plix.”
