    Apply for a chance to win $25,000 at the Next Einstein Forum 2020

    Co-Creation Hub in partnership with Next Einstein Forum (NEF) has launched a call for the Sciencepreneur Investor Meetup – to find, identify and support Science-driven innovators, solving some of the continent’s biggest problems, with access to investors, training and resources. 

    Applications are invited from the next generation of young African scientists and technologists with solutions that fall under one or more of the AfDb High 5s. The High 5s include: Integrate Africa, Light up & Power Africa, Feed Africa, Industrialize Africa, and Improve the quality of life for the people of Africa. 

    Shortlisted applicants will pitch before investors during the NEF Innovation Salon in Nairobi in March 2020, at the NEF Global Gathering where they can raise funding for their solutions.

    In addition, the top 5 winning solutions will take home $25,000 for each category.

    Who is eligible?

    1. Be a  holder of a passport from an African country
    2. Africans/people of African descent living on the continent
    3. Be 42 years of age or less as of 31 December 2019
    4. You are passionate about raising Africa’s profile in STEM globally
    5. You are able to clearly present your work to an audience in English or French
    6. Hold a Bsc/MBA/ PhD in a field of science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or the Social Sciences
    7. Available to travel from March 5 to March 13, 2020
