Africa Tech Summit Nairobi has unveiled the 10 African tech ventures that have been selected to present their innovative solutions for potential funding and partnerships at the upcoming event on February 12-13.
Powered by Raenest, Africa Tech Summit Nairobi will be held at the Sarit Expo Centre and will feature a comprehensive B2B summit, an exhibition, and an awards ceremony. The event will focus on four main track themes: Africa Money & DeFi Summit, Africa Climate Tech & Investment Summit, Africa Startup Summit, and Africa Mobile & App Summit.
The investment showcase received over 200 submissions from 24 countries, out of which 10 ventures were chosen. These ventures represent a diverse range of sectors including fintech, insurtech, e-health, agri-tech, and cleantech.
From Nigeria, three ventures have been selected:
- Dojah: An anti-fraud infrastructure platform that helps businesses detect, prevent, and manage fraudulent activities in real-time.
- Heala Tech: A digital health platform that streamlines healthcare delivery across Africa.
- Pricepally: An e-commerce startup focused on addressing inefficiencies in the food distribution system.
Kenya is also represented by three ventures:
- Duhqa: A B2B platform that connects retailers with manufacturers and suppliers.
- MaishaPoa: An insurtech startup offering affordable and accessible micro-insurance solutions.
- OnSpace Technologies: A no-code platform that provides affordable, accessible, and adaptable business systems for agricultural SMEs and related industries.
Other selected ventures include:
- Flow Global from Uganda, which offers financing solutions for MSMEs in developing countries.
- Bizy Tech from Tanzania, which has developed a digital agricultural platform.
- JaliKoi from Rwanda, which simplifies access to financial services for low and middle-income earners.
- Koolboks (operating in France, Nigeria, and Kenya), which provides pay-as-you-go (PAYG) solar-powered refrigeration solutions to underserved communities and SMEs.
