440NG has announced the 2nd batch of mentors for its accelerator program. This new batch consists of the following: Don Jazzy, Founder/Owner of Mavin Records; Elo Umeh, CEO of Twinpine/Terragon Group; Obinna Ekezie, Co-Founder, Wakanow; Ayo Olashoju, Francis Ebuehi, VP, VAS Airtel; Founder, Tavia Technologies; Adia Sowho, Head, Digital Media, Etisalat; Obinnia Abajue, ED, Stanbic IBTC; Bex Nwawudu, MD, CBO Capital Hannes Van Rensburg, Founder and Former CEO of Fundamo.
It announced the first set of mentors some days ago. They consist of Mitchell Elegbe of Interswitch; Tomi Hudonu, Deji Adewunmi, Sim Shagaya, Jay Alabraba, Rafael Afaedor and Afam Edozie
440NG is a JV between 88mph and L5Lab which provides startups with between $20k-110k investment for 10-25% equity in their businesses. They invest in startups that target the African markets and are scalable via web/mobile. They accept up to 10 startups per program who will spend 3 months with them, refining their products, business models, and go-to-market.
