The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is currently inviting applications for its 2024-25 Foundry Fellowship program, which is specifically tailored for distinguished entrepreneurs who are dedicated to driving the rapid expansion and integration of innovation and entrepreneurial networks throughout the African continent.

This fellowship program at MIT is crafted with the intention of empowering ethical and visionary leaders who are eager to initiate and lead transformative changes and foster inclusive economic growth within various sectors in Africa.

The Foundry Fellowship extends over a period of eight months and selects a small, elite group of 10 to 15 fellows each year. The program is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience that includes a series of personal leadership development seminars, academic courses led by esteemed MIT faculty members, and hands-on learning opportunities through visits to four distinct innovation ecosystems.

These components are designed to equip the fellows with the knowledge, skills, and insights necessary to make a significant impact in their respective fields. Founders and ecosystem builders who would be a great fit for the programme and would become a critical member of the alumni community can be nominated here.
