The Nigeria Energy Forum presents the 2016 SUSTAINABLE ENERGY AFRICA AWARDS. The award recognizes pioneering individuals, institutions and organizations on excellence, strong commitment, and for significant contribution to the development and/or deployment of sustainable energy technologies and/or solutions in Africa. The awards will be given on the 12th of April, 2016 at the Dinner of the Nigeria Energy Forum, Oriental Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria.

Outstanding Contribution Award recognizes individuals, institutions and organizations that have developed and/or deployed technology solutions with measurable impact in improving energy access in Africa.
International Partnerships of the Year recognizes institutions, organizations with strong commitment and impact in developing energy solutions in Africa Energy Efficiency Award recognizes organizations that are dedicated to increasing or promoting energy efficiency and the reduction of carbon footprints in Africa.
Energy Project of the Year recognizes individuals and organizations that have made the most outstanding contributions to the development of energy projects in Africa.
Emerging Leaders Award recognizes the contributions of upcoming young professionals in various energy sectors.
Women in Energy Awards recognizes the contributions of women including young professionals, in the development and management of energy solutions.

Submission Guidelines
All nominations must be done via www.thenef.org. You can enter directly (nominee) or nominate someone else, company, or organization (nominator). Download the “About SEAA” document for guidelines in each award categories. To ensure you/your candidate has the greatest chances of success, please provide sufficient background information. This could include newspaper article, CV, high impact peer-reviewed publications, pictures, videos or other relevant documents. All supporting information should be sent to info@nef.org. The subject line of the email should read, ‘Sustainable Energy Africa Awards’. Please name the files as: First&Last Name/Organisation (e.g. John Appiah/University of Accra). All entries and supporting documents must be received by 11:59 PM GMT, February 15, 2016.
